Home Test KitsHow about say, the 5-10 most common heavy metals. If they are there in any abundance, couldn't it be assumed that the other 200+/- are there as well? And if you can get the most common ones down, the others will be down as well? Yes, Doctor's Data has a urine screening test that I find is only a VERY rough indicator of SOME toxins but I cannot go along with these. A $4900 per patient test used by researchers, see body burden at www.ewg.org/reports/bodyburden/findings.php, proves we ALL need detox. Science News also reports the same results on 5000 patients tested by the government, again PROVING we all have at least 60-90 neurotoxins or carcinogens in our bodies at all times. BUT, some of us are being poisoned by our home or work and that requires REAL toxicological understanding to diagnosis accurately. Remember, we have the periodic table to deal with on metals and THOUSANDS of chemicals! Thus, a negative screening test can provide a misleading sense of security. Few can afford the $4900. test so YOU have to determine exactly what YOU want to tell YOUR patients you are doing for them, as we all carry liability. I favor a general detoxification program that would improve the health of YOU and your family that is safe and affordable. I will continue to look for a truly sensitive indicator that will tell us all when we have adequately detoxed ourselves. Sincerely, |
